The whole adventure of the Brno founders began with a taste of sensual chocolate from Guatemala. Tasting this Mayan chocolate was an incredible experience for them - absolute enthusiasm alternated with surprise at the unusual taste. Without much exaggeration, we can say that they had an epiphany, because the chocolate tasted completely different from the ones they had bought so far. So they became more interested in chocolate and discovered that it was not easy to get real, honest chocolate in Europe. Or that Czechoslovakia was the third largest processor of cocoa beans in the world during the first republic. All this inspired them to found the AJALA CHOCOLATE manufactory.
Ajala means awakening in the Mayan language, and that is exactly the feeling this small manufactory would like to convey to you. To surprise you with the first piece and awaken your curiosity and desire for further exploration.
