Míša Dohnálková has loved chocolate all her life. Wherever she goes, she buys chocolates and chocolate bars and tries new flavours. This lifelong love has led her to making her own chocolate. She makes chocolates bean to bar, or bean to bar in Czech. It's amazing how you can influence the taste of the chocolate during this process. It can take up to a week to make one bar.
In 2017, Míša sent one bar of Míša's chocolate to the prestigious Academy of Chocolate Awards 2017 and was awarded a medal for it. Her 75% dark chocolate made with beans from Tanzania won silver among 600 judged chocolates from around the world. In the same year, her 75% Dark Orange Bar won bronze in the International Chocolate Awards regional competition in Budapest.
Since then, she has been collecting prestigious chocolate awards regularly, representing the Czech Republic well in the chocolate world.
