Chocolate and Love was founded in 2009 by Scotsman Richard O'Connor and his wife. The successful entrepreneurs dove headfirst into the world of quality chocolate and within three years had become one of the best-selling premium chocolate brands in several stores around the world (Whole Foods Market, Harvey Nichols, Globus Gourmet and more) and won several Great Taste and Academy of Chocolate awards. The chocolatier adheres to Organic and Fair Trade principles and supports reforestation in cocoa growing areas.

Chocolate and Love is a member of several organisations, including The Guild of Fine Food, Slow Food, The Vegan Society and The Organic Food Federation.
